Cartier Gondole Horizontale Jumbo 18kt Yellow Gold Ref 9705

The Jumbo Gondole Horizontale Jumbo is something of a house-watch here at Bulang and Sons. It's not only one of the rarest watches out of the 70s, we believe is one of the coolest vintage Cartier watches ever! A rare excursion for Cartier in the 70s with this and the more common Gondole vertical to create these Jumbo versions.

The 18kt yellow gold horizontal stepped case is in beautiful original condition. The white dial has black Roman numerals and is signed PARIS. The blued steel hands are another classic Cartier signature as is the blue cabochon-topped winder. The watch is fitted with the pictured leather strap that has a yellow gold-plated Cartier buckle and also comes with the original 18kt yellow gold Cartier deployment clasp. The automatic movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
