Cartier Tank Americaine White Gold 20 Year Award Ref 1741

A gift for two decades of service…

This is a very special white gold Tank Américaine that was awarded to a Cartier employee for 20 years service to the company. The special dial has the text 20 ANS added, as a reference to the long-service award nature of the piece.

We bought this Tank directly from the former Cartier head of boutique who received the watch for her long time achievements for the brand. Her name is engraved on the case back, it has been blurred for the sake of privacy.

The watch is curved at the front but has a fairly flat back, which adds to its presence on the wrist and the case is in excellent condition. The classic-Cartier blued steel hands, including a centre-seconds hand, perfectly play against the signature sapphire blue cabochon.
The watch will come on the pictured leather strap that is fitted with a steel folding clasp.

The original owner had the Cartier buckle replaced with a generic Cartier style folding clasp and lost the white gold buckle over the years.

The watch also comes with the original papers and box. These papers are still blanc, as the watch never was sold, but gifted.

This Tank Américaine has an automatic movement that has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
