Cartier Tank Americaine White Gold 20 Year Award Ref 1741

The Tank Americaine was first introduced in 1989 and has some similarity to the Cintree, except the case back is flat, and this a very special white gold Tank Americiane that was an award to a Cartier employee for 20 years’ service to the company. This one has one of the coolest dials that we’ve seen on these special
award pieces and comes on a valuable white gold deployment clasp.
 

This special presentation watch houses a dial has ‘20’ across the dial, with the ‘2’ at nine and the ‘0’ at three on the guilloche dial with hidden CARTIER in the VII hour. At some point the recipient’s name on the case back has been polished out. The watch is fitted with the classic-Cartier blued steel hands that perfectly play against the signature sapphire blue cabochon. The case is in excellent condition. The watch will come on the pictured Cartier leather strap that is fitted with a valuable white gold Cartier folding deployment clasp. This Tank Americaine has an automatic movement that has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
