Longines "Chronostop" Ref 5824

Longines "Chronostop" Ref 5824

They say big is beautiful…well, it’s certainly true in this case!

This is a very Collectible Longines monopusher watch with all the hallmarks of the brand’s dedication to offering interesting pilots’ watches in the mid-20th century, as demonstrated by the bold Arabic hours and large onion winding crown.

The steel case measures a huge 47.5mm and has a single chronograph pusher. The black dial has luminous Arabic numerals, an inner rotating bezel calibrated to 60 minutes and two ā€œrunning secondsā€ hands - one for counting seconds and the other one is actually a minute counter. The watch will come on the pictured Nato strap. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The extract states that this watch was invoiced on 31 March 1951 to the company Knyath, which was at that time the agent for Israel.

This is a super cool and still under the radar watch that we’re sure you guys will love. Please arrange a visit to our lounge or a call to discuss this lovely Longines some more!
