To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the successful moon landing in 1969, Omega released this watch in 6969 examples. This watch is as new and is still partly in foil.
The 42mm steel case is perfect and in mint condition, as is the 18kt Moonshine god bezel ring with polished black ceramic tachymeter bezel insert. The cool grey and black dial features Moonshine gold hands and indexes and a gold-engraved sub dial (at nine oāclock) that features an illustration of Buzz Aldrin climbing out of the lunar module. The caseback also pays tribute to the moon walk with Armstrongās āOne small stepā¦ā quote around the inner circumference and an embossed astronautās footprint beneath a crystal.
And the coolest element? Our watch is number 6868 out of 6969! The set is completed by a cool (&hugeee!) presentation box and all the papers and manuals from new.
