The no-crown-guards Submariner is one of the most desirable of the iconic Rolex dive watches. The so-called small-crown watches feature 6mm crowns on cases without the shoulders on either side of the crown like on later references. This is a beautiful example and we especially love the gilt dial, with its super glossy black mirror finish. In the daylight when the sun hits this watch…just incredible! It has an additional point of interest in that it has a dot of lume at six o’clock known as an exclamation mark (read our article on that here). The case remains in stunning condition with evidence of the original factory lines. The insert is a brown/aubergine coloured long-five insert in lovely condition. This is a great watch and so much cool style on the wrist. The rivet bracelet is a reference 7206 and is in great condition. The bracelet has 80 endlinks and clasp stamped ‘2/61’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
