The nickname Maxi that collectors have given these watches, is a reference to the oversized hour plots. This Mk4 example that we are offering has almost supersized plots – they virtually touch the minute markers. The plots have taken on a really pleasing patina – a rich beige tone.The case remains in excellent condition with strong lugs and crown guards. The bezel has gently aged to a dark blue colour. The overall effect on the wrist is really quite something – we’re smitten with this Maxi Sub! The bracelet is a 93150 flip-lock Oyster in good condition with the correct 580 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘F’. The watch has recently been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
