Rolex Air King Date Ref 5700 Blue Dial

The Air King was introduced by Rolex in the 1940s to pay respect to the Royal Air Force pilots who took part in the Battle of Britain. In the 1960s Rolex introduced the Air King date.

This example remains in really great condition, with a strong case and bezel. The blue dial is perfect, with crisp text including the iconic AIR KING font that we love!.The lume in the hands is a nice match with the lume plots. The bracelet is a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 78350, with a clasp stamped vf and ref 557 endlinks, that is in good condition. The watch & automatic movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
