At Bulang and Sons we love Datejusts that are fitted with examples of the so-called Buckley dial, a watch named after New York based watch dealer John Buckley who loves these dials. The grey dial in this vintage 1601 has crisp white roman numerals and remains in superb original condition. The case is strong with even lugs – just how we like them.
The watch has a hint of glamour thanks to the white gold fluted bezel, which is also in good condition with some gentle aging. The solid link Oyster bracelet is in great shape with a clasp stamped ‘1 76’ and reference 558 endlinks. The slow-set movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
