It may come as no surprise, but we consider the Datejust an evergreen classic — and at some point in life, we believe every watch collector should own at least one.

At hand, we have a classic reference 1600, featuring a well-preserved 36mm steel case with the sporty smooth bezel in equally nice condition.

The uncommon white pie pan style dial has a matte finish with crisp black printed text, no applied lume and rarer so called “doorstop markers” ,as one can see these have a wedge like shape , very charming!

The watch is paired with a well-preserved reference 78360 Oyster bracelet, with end links marked 558 and a clasp stamped r2 and is fully serviced by our watchmaker .
