Rolex Daytona 116518 Yellow Gold Rare White Porcelain Dial with Papers

A rare and golden moment…

In 2000 Rolex unveiled its in-house movement, the Calibre 4130.

We are delighted to offer an early example of the Daytona Perpetual, from the early years of the 4130 movement, with yellow gold case and yellow gold tachymeter bezel. The early years of the in-house movement Daytonas saw the brand experimenting with different dials and this example houses a very interesting white porcelain dial, similar to those seen on early Zenith Daytonas !

The dial is stunning and has applied Arabic hours with a faded to pink DAYTONA text. The original punched papers accompany the watch that state that this Daytona was sold in Italy in 2002.
The watch will come on the pictured Bulang and Sons strap that is fitted with the original yellow gold deployment clasp. The movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
