Rolex Daytona Steel 16520 Black Floating Dial with Papers

The Daytona has always been important to collectors, with the Zenith-based Cosmographs having a huge following thanks to the small details that make a big difference…the little big things!

We are always delighted to be able to offer you guys a cool so-called Floating Daytona, a rare watch from the beginning of the Zenith era.

This example features a black dial with five lines of text, with the bottom COSMOGRAPH line ‘floating’ from the rest of the text.
The dial is in nice original condition with the lovely “Big Serifs “on the edge of the white text . The watch is fitted with a rare and correct Mk1 ‘200’ bezel in great condition. The case is also in good, healthy condition.

This is a very special and collectible Daytona and is, we believe, a very good investment grade watch. The original solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 78360, is in nice condition with a clasp stamped ‘M 5’ and 503 endlinks. This amazing watch comes complete with the original papers. The modified Zenith movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
