This gilt-dial reference 1016 Explorer features a beautiful 36mm case with a smooth bezel. The dial has aged to a stunning honey/caramel tone, while the hour markers and iconic 3-6-9 Arabic numerals have developed a warm yellow patina. There’s still plenty of gloss present on the dial, giving it that deep, rich charm. We only know a few examples in collection featuring such a rich and character full dial. 

 

The Rolex riveted Oyster bracelet, reference 7206, is in excellent condition, with a clasp stamped 2/67 and end links marked 58. This “Caramel” Explorer has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
