Rolex Explorer 14270 Swiss Only Dial
The Rolex Explorer has been a constant in the Rolex sports watch line-up since the 1950s. In the early 1990s Rolex introduced the sapphire glass 14270 Explorer with applied 3-6-9 numerals, where before they had always been painted. This is a nice rare example with SWISS only dial version.
The glossy dial is in excellent condition with luminova in the hour markers. The 36mm case remains in outstanding condition with good even lugs. This Explorer is fitted with a solid link reference 78790 Oyster bracelet with a clasp stamped āX 3ā and 558b endlinks. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
