The case back features an engraving, “K. Curtis,” adding an element of mystery and history to the watch.

 

The dial, in nice original condition, features hour plots with a delightful vanilla hue. The faded red-back Pepsi insert adds an extra layer of vintage charm, with the blue faded to a denim-like tone and the red softened to a light “cherry” color.

 

The watch is paired with an American-made “C&I” spring-loaded rivet-style Oyster bracelet, with a clasp stamped “78.”
