Rolex Oyster-Perpetual 6285 with Honeycomb Red Writing Dial in 18K Yellow Gold and Original Warranty Papers

At hand, we have just that: an 18K yellow gold Oyster Perpetual. While not a rare watch by itself, this particular example features a very seldom-seen honeycomb dial with red "Officially Certified Chronometer" (OCC) lettering on the lower half. The watch comes in a 34mm case with an unusual milled bezel combo. As this is an early example of the Oyster Perpetual, it has the so-called “bubble back” case, giving it a more prominent presence on the wrist, plus a ‘BREVET’ (another term for "Patent") engraved between the lugs.

The dial is in lovely condition, with a beautiful, even patina, a black minute track, and cool dauphine hands. The watch is paired with a high-quality Bulang & Sons leather strap and a Rolex plaque pin buckle. Included in the sale are the original "Chronometer" paper, the super rare "Swim Proof Tag," and a hang tag—a super cool set! This fine watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
