Rolex Sea-dweller 1665 MK1 Dial Ghost Bezel Box and Paper Set

After years of producing the reference 1665 with two lines of red text, Rolex transitioned to a white-text format. This particular watch features the highly sought-after “Mark 1” (MK1) dial.

 

It comes as part of an outstanding set, including the original warrantee paper dated 1981. The dial is in superb condition, with hour markers that have aged to a warm, creamy patina. The case remains strong, with sharp lugs and well-defined crown guards. We love the fading on the bezel insert , to a light grey “ghost” hue!

 

It is fitted with its original solid-link Oyster bracelet, reference 93150, complete with a clasp stamped ‘R5’ and 585 end links. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
