Rolex Submariner Date Yellow Gold 1680 / 8 Tropical Dial

This is one of the most awesome Subs we have seen for a long time. This is a 18kt yellow gold Submariner that has its original blue soleil dial fitted, which has turned an incredible shade of noney, with purple tones around the edges.
This is probably due to the time the watch spend out in the Middle East and may have come from Asprey, as it has the full serial number inside the case back. Imagine the gent who went in the 1970 s out to buy an Gold Sub - not your average Joe !

How about the fact that bezel pearl has been replaced, by the original owner, with a diamond! We can help source an original replacement if the new owner so wishes, but we think think this is an awesome look as is !The case is in nice condition, as the solid link gold Oyster bracelet, ref 92908, is in great tight condition with solid endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘M 9’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
