Vacheron Constantin Overseas ref 42042 Blue Dial

The Vacheron Overseas became one of the most desirable watches in the past two years, with new versions having long waiting lists and the pre-owned market showing huge growth.
This is a beautiful Overseas with the desirable 37mm case, which wears bigger thanks to the signature integrated bracelet.

This watch houses a very rare blue glossy dial with applied stud hour markers and luminous Arabic hours. Thought to be made for the American market, it is understood that only 75 pieces with this dial were manufactured.

The hands do not glow and we assume they have been relumed with paint at some point. The case and the cool stylized bezel are in outstanding condition.
This watch features the interesting and detailed engraving of a sailing ship on the case back. The integrated bracelet remains in excellent condition and will fit a wrist size up to 18.5cm. The automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
